Lucien has lost his wife recently. To escape the loneliness at home he takes out his bike daily for a ride. Today however, Lucien is forced to take another route. He encounters a girl that will take him back to his youth. He desperately clings on to this moment, only to realise it's meant to pass. Velo is a story about losing your dearest and creating routines to cope with your loss. It's about loneliness and how you cannot avoid to recognise your loved one in a total stranger. You cling on to this sparkle of hope, if only for a few seconds. And then you realise this moment is ephemeral.
